What You’ll Be Up To
Reporting directly to Finance Manager Americas and the global finance team, this role will have direct responsibility for accurate and timely reporting for Daniel Wellington Americas. As a member of both the regional team and the global finance team, the Accountantwill be critical to the organization’s success.

In Short, Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

The Accountant is responsible for organizing, coordinating and supervising the day-to-day accounting operations and controlling the payroll. Responsibilities also include reconciliation of tax accounts and assisting in preparation of financial statements and reports to tax authorities. 



  • Assure timely submission of accurate financial information to all stakeholders (e.g. tax authorities, other local authorities).
  • Assist Finance Manager in planning and managing cash flow for the business. 
  • Supporting the global finance team in the year-end audit process.
  • Ensuring compliance with local tax and accounting legislation as well as internal group accounting guidelines. 



  • Manage the accounts payable and the accounts receivable. 
  • Supervise the bank statement postings as well as the reconciliation of the bank accounts and petty cash.
  • Reconciliation of all tax accounts.
  • Maintain the general ledger.



  • Responsible for the timely compilation of the monthly and annual closings including the communication of the closing timetable within the organization
  • Carry out depreciation runs, post all accrual and deferral entries as well as revaluations, write-offs and provisions.
  • Reconcile all clearing and intercompany accounts and prepare the annual statutory financial statements.
  • Together with Financial Manager. conducting thorough review of all monthly reports and financial statements prior to the submission to HQ or authorities, making corrections as needed.
